Year 9 Geography students this week cooked their own selected Indian menus. The students are following a unit of study which investigates the modern state of India. Mrs Stockton’s 9(2) and Mr Stockton’s 9(1) groups cooked a variety of taster recipes including chicken balti, vegetable massala, chicken korma. There was certainly a far eastern aroma from the food technology rooms, and the students all enjoyed sampling the various dishes. The cooking experience certainly added an element of realism to the topic and all had a good time. Well done Year 9.
