Competition Time

Get ready to SCREAM!!!

The library is currently running a competition to create your own ‘Scream’ based on the famous painting by Edvard Munch.

You can use any medium you wish, pen, pencil, crayon, paint, photography or even a computer generated image! (Black and white templates are available from the library for those who need a little bit of a hand) the possibilities are endless.  Have a look at some of the examples in the entrance to the main library to inspire you.

The only rules are that the picture should easily be recognisable as ‘The Scream’ and should be as original as possible.

Entry is 50p with all proceeds going back into the library to purchase some more fiction novels.

The prize for the winning picture is FOUR tickets to Alton Towers where you can scream as loud as you want!
