The overseas students were treated to a night out at our local Chinese restaurant. The mini-bus picked us up as soon as assignment time finished and we drove into Uttoxeter, to ‘Mr Woo’s’.

Yesterday, the Lower VI overseas students accompanied Miss Ross to Callow Hall to take afternoon tea. Callow Hall is a stately old house with some beautifully decorated rooms. We were shown into a sunny drawing room with a fire lit in the hearth and tea laid out for us.
It was fun pouring out the tea for each other and we felt quite refined using the delicate china tea service. The scones arrived warm. As we had never tried them before, Miss Ross explained how to eat them with the clotte...
This week Miss Ross and Mrs Wood accompanied the Year 10 overseas students to lunch at the Hollybush Inn in Salt so that they could experience a traditional English menu in a traditional English setting. The Hollybush is believed to be the second oldest licensed public house in England and continues to serve a variety of dishes based on local produce.
