Abbotsholme held its third 'School of Rock' festival last weekend. Pupil bands (and the obligatory staff band) performed in front of a huge audience of fellow pupils, Governors, Old Abbotsholmians, parents, friends, and school staff, and produced a fabulous evening. The parents association provided a barbeque and refreshments on the front lawn for those who wanted to rest their ears, relax, and refresh their minds.

All the pupils in Years four to six are members of the Junior Choir. They sang their choral piece with great enthusiasm and skill.
All in all it was an excellent evening cel...

Harvey Jones began by playing a violin piece called “Chinese Lanterns”. Eventually it was our turn to perform and Tilly and I sang ‘I’m yours’ by Jason Maraz. We stood up and walked to the piano. I started playing and Tilly joined in. Tilly also sang ‘Run’ by Leona Lewis. She was amazing. The thir...
