The Junior Department Evening of Music is an eagerly anticipated event. It gives all the pupils in the Junior Department the opportunity to perform both as soloists and in ensembles in front of their parents in Chapel. In February, the Junior Department had their round of the Inter-House Music Competition. We began by singing the house hymn, ‘All Things Bright and Beautiful’. The second round was the solo round. Harvey Jones began by playing a violin piece called “Chinese Lanterns”. Eventually it was our turn to perform and Tilly and I sang ‘I’m yours’ by Jason Maraz. We stood up and walked to the piano.
