Abbotsholme pupil James Gardiner performed a spectacular concert in front of a packed crowd this lunchtime (1st July).
This is the first time that a concert of this type has been performed in the schools theatre and James was the sole organiser and promoter of the event. He sang and danced his way through 8 tracks three of which can be found on his album ‘Psychopath’ which is available to download now from iTunes. Along with his backing dancers he kept the crowd entertained throughout with his hits ‘I’m in love’ and ‘Psycopath’ He hopes to keep his musical journey on the move once he has left Abbotsholme by promoting a mini tour before taking up a place at the London Vocal Technical College in September.
James started his musical journey at an early age after a holiday karaoke session whereby he sang memories from cats. The audience were so impressed that they filled James' hat with coins! As soon as James returned home he threw himself into stage schools and singing. By the time he was 11 he was writing his own songs.
James has been a pupil at Abbotsholme School for five years starting in year 7.
