The Year Six electric car team, Henry, Bertie, Fraser,
Harvey, Harry, Manton and Hollie, spent a very successful day racing the Goblin
electric car at the Staffordshire Activity Centre in Seighford.
The first
exciting event was the drag or sprint race, this was followed by the slalom and
the final event was the track race. All of the drivers took part in the first
two events and Henry was the nominated driver for the track event. All the
drivers excelled themselves and had a marvellous time showing off their
driving skills to maximum speed of 15mph! However, it was Harry who brought
home a trophy. He was awarded best time for the drag race! A big well done to
all of the team for their efforts and also for their outstanding behaviour,
they represented our school in an exemplary fashion, I was very proud of them
all.
