On Wednesday 3rd March Abbotsholme girls had a full fixture list. It was great to see so many girls out representing the school in what proved to be an exciting and very productive afternoon. Our 1st and 2nd senior teams played against Adams Grammar School from Telford. The 2nd team had a very exciting game, well fought and closely matched throughout. Final score was Abbotsholme 16 Adams Grammar 12. Player of the match was Nina Meier. Abbotsholme 1st team had a hard game and after 6 periods of 10 mins they did themselves proud and played positively throughout. The final score did not reflect the game.
The junior Netball teams : U14, U13 and U12 played against Lichfield Cathedral School. Three very hard and well contested games, with all shooters playing consistently, defenders winning interceptions and attackers making play for their team members. Final scores were: U14's Abbotsholme won 19 – 0, U13's drew 11 all and the U12's won 31 – 3.
