From the 30th September to the 2nd of October, the majority of year 11 went to Yorkshire Peak District near Lady Bower Reservoir. It consisted of three days hiking. On the first day, due to a late start, we had our route cut short and started 5 km into the walk. We continued for what was an easy mornings walk to meet Mr. Herbert. We continued up a large hill, over a moor to our first stop at Edale. In the night we had a badger raid our tent. On the second day we viewed the sights of the Peak District. We saw a fantastic view of Ladybower Dam and Stanage Edge We managed to get lost in a moor next to Stanage. On the last day we had a long and painful walk, with nothing to eat except squeezy jam. We finished with a bit of history at Eyam.
