U11 Football v Smallwood Manor
The Abbotsholme U11 A and B team made the short journey to Smallwood Manor for what is always a very tough fixture, and sadly see’s more defeats than victories for the Abbotsholme youngsters. However this Wednesday afternoon would see a different outcome, with the A team this year strengthened due to players having a year’s more experience, and the addition of talented captain Jordan Harrison saw the Abbotsholme A Team battle through a tough match to come away with a 2-1 win, with Jordan Harrison scoring both goals, Man of the Match was awarded to John McFarland who had a very good game in goal. The B Team also had a tough fixture but with a strong team performance they came away with a 2-0 win, with goals from Harry Dean and Harvey Jones, Man of the Match went to Harvey Jones.
