On Tuesday, 24 January a hearty group of Year 8 OEd’ers braved the drizzle and fog to sharpen their map skills in Dovedale. We arrived to an empty car park and spent the afternoon taking turns leading the group to various points on the map. The highlight of the walk are the stepping stones, where a few ended up with soakers from the water being quite high. The group worked very well and were able to locate such exciting features as Lover’s Leap and the hidden caves.
