Seniors (Yrs 7 - 11)

Uniform letter from Deputy Head

11.07.12

6th July 2012

Dear Parents

I would like to remind parents of our Senior School pupils of our uniform regulations and ask for help and support in ensuring that our pupils’ dress is of the highest standard.

These are areas the Head of Year and I would like to focus on next term:

Girls Years 7-11

The kilt should be worn at knee length.  We apologise to some parents in years 10 and 11 who may need to purchase a new kilt for their daughters.

Shoes should be black, leather school shoes with a sensible heel height.

No jewellery is allowed except for a one pair of stud earrings in the earlobe. No other visible piercings are allowed. (Medialert jewellery is acceptable.)

Hair should be neat and tidy, no dip dying.

Boys Year 7-11

Shoes must be of black leather.

Trousers should be grey.

If the tie is worn it should be done up correctly.

No jewellery is allowed.

Hair should be neat and tidy.

Sixth Form

All pupils should wear a suit.

Girls may wear a skirt or trouser suit. Skirt lengths should be at the knee.

Thank you in advance for your help in this matter and I apologise if this means some shopping trips.

Yours sincerely

Helen Wainwright
