Welcome to the Abbotsholme Library homepage.
The Library has been developed over the past year after extensive building works to what were the old reading room and the old library. With a bright and airy feel to it the library offers plenty of space for reading, research and study. With a large selection of Fiction, non-fiction, newspapers, magazines and journals and with computers linked to the internet the library has become the hub of the school.
October 10th 2009 marked the official opening of the Old Abbotsholmian Library by Lady Moss. Her speech was inspirational telling the children that through the doors of the library they would be able to travel anywhere and become who they wanted to be through the medium of books. Lady Moss took time to speak to the children about how school used to be and how wonderful it was for them to have a superb learning environment to develop their minds.
