The pupils in Year 11 and Year 13 were working extremely hard on their preparations for their art exam when, a third of the way in to their projects, schools throughout the country were closed.  They were all disappointed but, despite everything, they continued to work hard at home.  Although they could no longer have the level of support they had received in the classroom and their access to materials was limited, they all tried their best to realise their ideas in a final piece.  

The work here represents a small amount of what each pupil created as part of their exam unit.  It does not represent everything they have achieved, as it does not include all of the work produced as part of their exam development and contains no work from the coursework unit.  

At some point in the next academic year I hope I will be able to put on the exhibition that should have taken place at the end of the summer term.  This will be a true celebration of the pupils’ achievements.  In the meantime, there is the work shown here.  Treat it is a ’teaser’ of what to expect when the real exhibition is put together!
