Open Day Events

Abbotsholme hosts two main Open Day events each year, held in the Autumn and Summer terms, offering families the opportunity to experience the school in action across different points in the academic year.

What happens on the day?

Each event typically begins with a welcome from the Head, setting out the school’s ethos of ‘Every Child Known’ and ‘An Education for Life’.

This is followed by student-led tours of the 140-acre campus, giving visitors an authentic insight into daily life at Abbotsholme, from classrooms and creative spaces to the working farm, equestrian centre, sports facilities and outdoor education areas.

Along the way, families can meet staff, speak with current pupils and explore the school’s distinctive opportunities, with time for informal conversations and questions throughout.
