Campus & Facilities

Nestled on the border of Derbyshire and Staffordshire, our 140-acre campus resides in the quiet village of Rocester. With close proximity to the Peak District, Cannock Chase District, and just a short drive to the market town of Uttoxeter, Abbotsholme offers a tranquil and unique environment for learning.

With the River Dove peacefully flowing through part of our school, and the wealth of nature which surrounds us, our pupils can immerse themselves in the serenity of the outdoors – something that is deeply rooted in our school’s DNA.

Although in a countryside setting, Abbotsholme School offers easy access to the neighbouring towns of Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Nottingham, Burton-on-Trent and Birmingham, whose heritage is renowned worldwide. Our transport links are excellent, with Birmingham International Airport and Manchester Airport a little over one hour’s drive away.
