Sixth Form Curriculum
Our specialist teachers provide support to our Sixth Form pupils during the final two years of their educational journey at Abbotsholme.
The pathways for our Sixth Form pupils are thoughtfully selected through consultations with parents and pupils, with most pupils taking at least three A Levels or BTEC equivalents. Additionally, pupils are required to complete an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in a subject of their choice, either to complement their studies or explore a new and diverse topic.
A Levels provide a traditional academic route, including subjects such as English, Maths, Science, Business Studies, Psychology and the Humanities. BTECs in Sport, Agriculture, and Performing Arts offer a more practical, project management approach. Many Sixth Form pupils at Abbotsholme benefit from a combination of both course types.
