Discovery Days at Abbotsholme
In addition to our Open Day events, we are delighted to invite families to our Discovery Days, immersive experiences designed to showcase Abbotsholme in action.
Held on selected school days throughout the year, Discovery Days are typically focused around key entry points:
- Nursery and Pre-Prep (Reception)
- Prep School
- Year 7 Starters
- GCSE Entry
- Sixth Form
These events offer prospective pupils and parents a genuine glimpse into the unique opportunities an Abbotsholme education provides.
Step into lessons to see our teachers and pupils in their element, feel the warmth of our close-knit community, and experience first-hand the breadth of learning that defines Abbotsholme. From our working farm and outdoor education programme to our creative arts, STEM innovation, and equestrian excellence, every moment reveals how learning here is both dynamic and deeply connected to real-world experience.
Throughout Discovery Days, our Headmistress, Heads of Year, and other key members of staff will be available to meet with families, answer questions, and help you discover how Abbotsholme could be the perfect fit for your child.

Spring into STEM is a vibrant, spring-themed STEM discovery day designed to give prospective pupils a genuine insight into life at Abbotsholme Prep.
Prospective Pupils are invited to immerse themselves in the hands-on, experiential learning that defines the school, taking part alongside current pupils throughout the day.
From farm-based activities that connect learning to the natural world, to engaging STEM challenges and creative, spring-inspired opportunities, Spring into STEM showcases how curiosity, collaboration, and creativity are nurtured every day at Abbotsholme Prep.
