International Easter & Summer Camps_OLD
Due to the ongoing Corona Virus situation around the world, we have worked with our partner agents and families to design a programme that will allow both our current, and external students the opportunity to stay at Abbotsholme over the Easter break.
This is an all-inclusive programme and offers a comprehensive and competitive 18-day package.
Our main aim is to give the students a positive and refreshing experience in GCSE/A LEVEL revision. A big emphasis is placed on building confidence and knowledge, bringing together students from Year 10 to Year 13 in age group. The course revision is based on current subject content that has been covered during semesters from September 2019 to March 2020. During our revision course you will take part in a range of activities, from tutor-led activities to student-led work. The revision will also take into account their current level of understanding and will provide a setting that promotes confidence and challenge. We also use past questions from a number of the key examination boards, including AQA, Edexcel , and IGCSE to inform our GCSE studies revision courses in the following subjects:
Mathematics, English, Business, Economics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects at GCSE and A level certification. All accommodation, catering, activities and planned away day excursions are included in the price.
Each summer we have language camps for students to come and experience and summer 2020 will see a whole new range of options for students to choose from – each allowing them to practice English whilst doing the things they love!
- The following programmes are available
- Learn English with Golf
- Learn English with Football
- Learn English with Horse Riding
- Learn English with Leadership and Outdoor activities
- Learn English with Dance
- Learn English with Multi Activities
These camps provide an innovative approach, combining English language classes with intensive coaching in your favourite sport or activity.
Through each day, Monday to Friday, the students will receive three hours of expert English tuition and three hours of coaching in their chosen sport or activity, all taught
in English. In addition, throughout the week there will be trips to cities, castles and the countryside, offering more opportunities to practise their English with native speakers.
The programmes are led by a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated team of teachers and coaches, who are committed to making the experience enjoyable, interesting and fun, both inside and outside the classroom.
